The only way to get the men in my family to cooperate...

It's likely this will work for yours too...

YOU WILL NEED:
2LB BEEF RIBS
1 TBSP PAPRIKA
1 TSP CHILLI POWDER
1 TBSP SUGAR
1 TBSP GINGER POWDER
1 TSBP GARLIC POWDER
1 TSP SALT
1/2 CUBE BEEF STOCK CRUMBLED
1 TSP PEPPER
1 TSP CINNAMON
2 CUPS BROWN RICE (COOKED)

FOR THE SAUCE:
3/4 TUBE OF TOMATO PASTE
1 TBSP CHILLI POWDER
1 TSP GINGER POWDER
1 TBSP GARLIC PASTE
1 TBSP OLIVE OIL
1 TBSP SUGAR
SALT AND PEPPER
1 TSP VINEGAR
OLIVE OIL
2 TBSP HONEY
1/2 CUP WATER

Mix all of the spices together in a large mixing bowl.

Add the ribs to the mixture.

Make sure the mixture is evenly spread over the ribs.

Lay ribs out on foil covered baking tray.

Cook for an hour at 200 Degrees Celsius or 390 Degrees F.

Check on them every 15 minutes and pour out excess liquid.

Add the cooked brown rice to a large hot flat pan with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Leave to brown for around ten minutes and mix around.

Allow all of the rice to become brown and crispy. Add a pinch of salt.

In a pan, heat up a tablespoon of olive oil and add the garlic paste. Add the tomato paste, mix and until smooth and then add the water.

Once it is in a sauce form add the rest of the ingredients (EXCEPT the honey).

The ribs will be ready when all of the fat has melted off and they are a crunch and brown.

When the ribs are cooked, add the honey to the sauce, mix and toss the ribs in the sauce.

Place the ribs back on the tray under the grill for 3 minutes.

Enjoy!
