Lucky me, I spent the last ten days enjoying sunshine and food (a little too much, I admit) in Tel Aviv. Israel is one of the best countries for food and if you haven't been I suggest you go ASAP purely for the culinary adventure you'll experience!

Over the next week or so I'll be sharing with you a few of my favourite Israeli dishes.

Most restaurants in Israel have similar menus, the meals are a little like deja vu but I had no complaints. Despite this, I have to admit, Israeli food is not easy to master. The best teacher I could ever ask for is Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi and their masterpiece Jerusalem.
